Macro-Friendly Recipe Review: Double Chocolate Banana Muffins

Mornings are busy. Whether you’ve got to get your workout in, catch an early train to work, or get the kids ready for school, there are few us of who have time for a leisurely breakfast in the morning. That’s where these Double Chocolate Banana Muffins come into play. I made them on a Sunday so I had them ready to grab-and-go for the rest of the week. They were so delicious and easy that they have officially become part of my Sunday meal prep.

The recipe is from the health focused food blog, Ambitious Kitchen. While they are chocolate muffins, they’re made with whole grains, protein packed greek yogurt, are naturally sweetened with honey, and contain just a hint of chocolate sweetness. In all, they make you feel no guilt for having chocolate for breakfast!
