Snappy Soy Honey Mustard Marinade

Transform a boring old grilled dinner into something Bobby Flay would stand up and clap for.

  • 1 cup Brown Dog Fancy Spicy Honey Dijon
  • 1 tbs Soy Sauce Low Sodium
  • 1 tbs White Vinegar


  1. Start with one cup of Brown Dog Fancy Spicy Honey Dijon (or regular Honey Dijon) and add soy sauce and vinegar to taste.

    For salmon or tuna, rub the meaty side of the fish with the marinade before grilling and cook as you would normally. Feel free to add more as you go.

    For chicken, add the appropriate amount of marinade to cover all chicken surfaces. Let the marinade sit in the refrigerator for at least three hours and then grill or roast.

Recipe Notes

You may have some flair ups due to the honey in the mustard so keep a keen eye to make sure you don’t end up with an unanticipated blackened tuna or cajun chicken!
